Notifications (planned)

Planned capability
This page describes a proposed management contract, not a setup procedure. Current request behavior is documented in the Gateway API reference.
Current boundary
An alert_only budget does not block admission. A configured threshold or saved policy does not establish that a notification was sent. A notification-channel setup and test-delivery procedure are not published for the current deployment.
Proposed alerts
A future notification flow would define threshold events, recipients, deduplication, effective windows and delivery results. It would distinguish a budget threshold from an observed refusal.
Proposed channels and digests
Email, Slack, Microsoft Teams and webhooks are proposed delivery channels. Each would require an organization configuration, recipient authorization, a test delivery and failure handling before it could be documented as available.
Weekly or monthly digests and forecast warnings would require defined calculation windows. They would report estimates; they would not enforce admission.
