Planned capability
This page describes a proposed management contract, not a setup procedure. Current request behavior is documented in the Gateway API reference.
Proposed allowlists
The planned management contract would add scoped allowlists with explicit inheritance and precedence. It would need to define whether descendants could narrow or widen access. Current model/provider deny behavior is described in Restrict model and provider access.
Proposed budget fallback
A future downgrade action would need an eligible fallback model, price mapping, compatible request features and decision evidence. It would not establish a hard spend ceiling. Smart Router replacement eligibility is separate from admission access rules.
Proposed eligibility preview
A preview would resolve the applicable policies for an identified request context and explain why each model would be eligible or refused. It would not substitute for observing the outcome of an actual request.
