Planned capability
This page describes a proposed management contract, not a setup procedure. Current request behavior is documented in the Gateway API reference.
Proposed template contents
A future template would group supported budgets and access rules under a reusable name. Assignment would need explicit administrator authority over the affected scope.
Proposed changes
Editing or removing a template would need a defined effective time, propagation behavior, conflict handling and retained configuration history. Immediate application to every device is not established.
Proposed composition
The contract would need to define how template policies combine with directly configured and ancestor policies, including overrides, overlap and refusal precedence.
