Projects and issues on one Jira site, limited to the authorizing account’s access.

Set up Jira

An admin connects this app for the Cortex organization. Grant access only to content appropriate for the whole organization.

What you need: an Atlassian account that can reach the Jira site to connect.

1. In Cortex, open Organization → Apps and add Jira.
2. Sign in to Atlassian and approve read access to Jira work and Jira users, plus offline access so the connection can stay active.
3. If the account can reach more than one site, choose the Jira site to connect.
4. Return to Cortex and select Test & preview. The preview lists non-archived projects from that site.

Jira scope and limits

Each read-only connection covers one Jira site.

Manage this connection

After changing permissions in Jira, return to Organization → Apps and run Test & preview. A preview is a limited sample of accessible content.
